At the National Police College located in Musanze District this Friday, June 20, 2025, a graduation ceremony was held for the 13th cohort of the one-year Police Senior Command and Staff Course.
This year, 34 senior police officers from nine African countries joined their Rwandan counterparts in celebrating the successful completion of the intensive one-year leadership course.
The graduation ceremony was presided over by the Minister of Interior, Dr. Vincent Biruta. It was also attended by diplomats and representatives from the participating countries.
The Commandant of the National Police College, CP Rafiki Mujiji, said in his speech:
“The Police Senior Command and Staff Course that concludes today is a one-year program delivered by the National Police College in partnership with the University of Rwanda and the African Leadership University. We are pleased to announce that all 34 students have successfully completed their studies. Achieving this demonstrates their hard work, discipline, and commitment. As you return to serve in various security institutions, we trust that the leadership knowledge and skills you have gained will help you professionally address the current security challenges.”
