Cristiano Ronaldo has once again claimed the top spot as the highest-paid athlete in the world, according to Forbes. This marks the third consecutive year and the fifth time overall in his career that the Portuguese superstar has led the list.
Following his move to Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia, Ronaldo earned a staggering $275 million, including $60 million from his on-field salary and $215 million from endorsements and his massive social media following of over 900 million fans.
Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors came in second with $156 million, followed by boxer Tyson Fury in third with $135 million, despite recently losing his titles to Oleksandr Usyk.
American footballer Dak Prescott ranked fourth, followed by Lionel Messi of Inter Miami in fifth, and LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers in sixth.
Juan Soto of the New York Mets (baseball) was seventh with $114 million, Karim Benzema of Al Ittihad eighth, Shohei Ohtani (baseball) ninth, and Kevin Durant of the Phoenix Suns completed the 2025 top 10.
