Rwanda’s National Women’s Football Team, known as She-Amavubi, will not take part in the 2025 CECAFA Senior Women’s Championship, which will be held in Tanzania from June 12 to 21, 2025.
Participating countries include host Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya, Burundi, and South Sudan.
Rwanda does not appear on the list of competing teams, and reports suggest the likely reason is financial constraints, although no official statement has been issued by the responsible authorities.
All matches in this tournament will take place at the Azam Complex in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
