Former sports journalist turned player agent, Mucyo Antha Biganiro, has issued a stern warning to the management of Rayon Sports, cautioning them against what he believes would be a major blunder in signing Burundian player Musore Prince Michel.
In an interview with Radio O, Mucyo Antha expressed his concerns over the capabilities of the former Vital’O FC player, arguing that he lacks the potential to be an asset for Rayon Sports.
He stated, “Rayon Sports will burn. This player is far behind local talents like Ishimwe Christian.”
Mucyo, who has recently ventured into the player representation business after successfully assisting Umar Abba in joining Bugesera FC, advised clubs such as Rayon Sports and APR FC to invest more in scouting domestic talent. He criticized the Ugandan market, claiming it no longer offers fresh talent.
Rayon Sports has recently signed a new head coach and reportedly secured a two-year deal with Mosengo Tansele. However, the proposed signing of Musore Prince could be met with controversy, especially as APR FC continues its search for a new coach and more players.
