Rayon Sports is close to signing Ugandan defender Nicholas Mwere.
Mwere, 24, has spent the past two years playing for Bull FC in his home country.
Reports indicate that talks between the Rwandan side (nicknamed “Gikundiro”) and the left-back are at an advanced stage, with the aim of having him replace Hakim Bugingo, who currently plays in that position for the team.
In the 2024/25 football season, Mwere featured in 22 matches for Bull FC, scoring one goal and providing two assists.
