Dr. Bishop Emmanuel Musinga, a preacher based in the United States, has called on African countries to learn from Rwanda, citing the nation’s security, efficiency, and quality public services, stating that Rwanda has surpassed African standards.
This preacher, originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo, made the remarks during an interview with One Nation Radio, where he said he knows Rwanda better than he knows Congo, because he visits Rwanda every year.
He said:
“I know Rwanda more than I know the DRC, because I’ve lived in Rwanda longer than I’ve lived in Congo.”
He also revealed that many of his Banyamulenge relatives passed through Rwanda before reaching the United States.
When asked about his view on Rwanda, he described it as a country with high-level services, comparable to those in the United States and top European countries.
He said:
“Rwanda has great services, at the level of America and powerful European nations. It is no longer at the level of Africa.”
He pointed out, for instance, that a Rwandan passport is delivered in less than three days, and that most services are digitized.
He took the opportunity to urge other African countries to emulate Rwanda in its efforts to improve service delivery. He believes that if Africa followed Rwanda’s example, the continent could become a global model of service excellence.
Dr. Musinga also praised Rwandan President Paul Kagame, saying what he loves about Kagame is his love for his people and his country.
He added that Kagame is wise and visionary, always embracing anything that brings progress to the people and the nation.
In closing, Dr. Musinga stated that Kagame is a leader for all progressive thinkers, and that studying his leadership style can bring great benefits to one’s life.
Before relocating to the United States, Dr. Musinga lived in Kenya after leaving Rwanda, which he first entered in 1994.
Today, Bishop Dr. Emmanuel Musinga leads churches in the United States, Kenya, Uganda, and other countries.
