Ugandan model based in London, Eva Apio, has denied rumors claiming she is in a romantic relationship with Nigerian singer Asake.
She addressed the speculation in response to someone who referred to her on Twitter as “Asake’s girlfriend.” Eva replied bluntly: “I’ve never been his girlfriend.”
Her statement comes amid widespread rumors and questions about her connection with Asake, particularly because the two have been spotted together on several occasions — including at events such as Paris Fashion Week.
However, Eva emphasized that there was never a romantic relationship between them, and that people misunderstood their friendship.
