Ndong Mengue Chancelor, an 18-year-old player from Gabon, arrived in Kigali this Monday for a trial with Rayon Sports.
The young forward, who plays as a winger, was previously with Union Sportive d’Oyem in Gabon.
In the last football season, he played 18 matches, scored 5 goals, and provided 8 assists. Although he shows great talent, he has not yet signed a contract, as he will first undergo a trial.
Ndong arrives at a time when Rayon Sports is continuing to strengthen its squad, having already signed nine new players, including Bayisenge Emery and Ntarindwa Aimable. Meanwhile, players like Serumogo Ally and Niyonzima Seif have renewed their contracts.
It is also expected that later today, Bigirimana Abeddy, formerly of Police FC, will arrive in Kigali and immediately sign a one-year contract with the Blue and White team.
Rayon Sports is planning to continue building a strong team ahead of the 2025–2026 football season.
